We are affiliated to BMX New Zealand. The online membership form above registers you for both the BMX NZ License fee and Christchurch City BMX Club membership fee. You will need to select both the corresponding ‘BMX NZ License Fee’ AND the ‘Club Membership Fee’ when paying for this.

LICENCE TYPES​​​​​​​

STRIDER 

A Strider Licence is for all riders of non-pedal bikes. They will need to upgrade to a Sprocket Licence when they either turn 5yrs old OR move onto a pedal bike.

Membership for Striders is $10 in total.

SPROCKET

A Sprocket licence is for children seven years and under (as at 31st December of the year of Membership). There is no scoring or placing and all riders receive the same awards/trophies.

Membership for Sprockets is $110 per season.

CHALLENGE 

A Challenge license is for riders over eight years (as at 31st December of the year of Membership).

Membership for Challenge riders is $140 per season.
