BMX GLOSSARY


This article covers common terms you’ll hear used at BMX tracks, but does not go into the various terms used for the bikes themselves (and the componentry).

BMX, like most other sports, has its own particular language. You’ll often hear terms like “getting a good backside”, “tap-manual”, “rhythm section” being thrown around. Here’s what some of those more common terms mean.
